Six-inch cold-formed steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center support exterior metal panels per architectural drawings. A continuous three-eighths-inch bent plate connects to the roof deck per plan above a structural steel beam and joist. A slide clip connection is provided by the cold-formed steel designer at the floor level. Three-sixteenths-inch welds secure the steel elements.
