An existing concrete panel bears against a hollow structural section supported by a clip angle fastened with expansion anchors. The connection incorporates an angle bracket secured with four three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchor bolts spaced at eight inches on center. Field operations require drilling through the existing concrete panel beyond and filling the void with grout.
