A composite metal deck spans over a structural steel edge beam sized per plan with a minimum 2 inch bearing. Concrete over metal deck includes a continuous number 4 reinforcing bar at the edge and reinforcing per plan. An edge form of 43 mil minimum is designed by the deck supplier. Shear studs are welded through the metal deck to the top flange of the beam per the deck supplier and structural plans.
