Metal deck support angles frame around a structural steel column centerline with a three-inch clearance minimum and three-foot-six-inch maximum. An angle size of L3x3x3/16 is provided typically when dimension A exceeds three inches based on the deck span. An angle size of L3x3x3/16 is provided typically when dimension B exceeds three inches based on the deck span. Fillet welds of three-sixteenth-inch size with a length of one and one-half inches are specified typically.
