A hollow structural section web connection designed to allow horizontal drift. The connection utilizes a one-half inch bent plate fastened with two three-quarter inch diameter A307 bolts with nuts. The bent plate features two-inch vertical slotted holes, and horizontal slots are provided at the end of the hollow structural section where applicable to permit movement.
