A drop-in steel beam bears directly onto the top flange of a continuous steel column and is fastened with bolts through a seat plate designated SCP-1. An adjacent steel beam connects to the web of the supporting member using a single plate shear connection unless noted otherwise. Field conditions are detailed with reference to sheet SF602.
