The safety gate is constructed using 6061 aluminum hollow structural section framing members measuring 51 by 51 by 4.8 millimeters. Additional components include a 64 by 64 by 9.5 millimeter aluminum angle piece and a 9.5 by 51 by 300 millimeter flat bar. A 25 millimeter diameter by 10 millimeter thick aluminum bar is also incorporated into the assembly. The frame is fully dimensioned with lengths including 970 millimeters for the vertical post and 1978 millimeters for the overall width.
