Photovoltaic panels mount onto Unirac SolarMount rails using standard mid clamps and end clamps secured by one-quarter-inch stainless steel T-bolts torqued to ten foot-pounds. Rails attach to the structural frame below using three-eighths-inch diameter stainless steel Lindapter Hollo-Bolts per ICC ESR-3330 with neoprene washers above and below the L-foot, installed to a torque of thirty-three foot-pounds. Panel placement requires a one-inch minimum gap on all sides of each panel with end clamps positioned ten inches minimum and one to five inches typical on each side of the panel. Rail splices occur six to sixteen inches maximum on center where required, avoiding adjacent spans.
