A wide-flange beam connects to a moment frame girder or drag beam using a bolted connection plate. A stiffener plate matching the thickness of the connection plate is provided on the opposite side of the girder web. The detail accommodates a W24 minimum beam when framing on one side, or W16 minimum on each side for beams framing on two sides. A wide-flange beam is also shown occurring on the opposite side per plan.
