An HSS8x8 beam with a three-eighths-inch end plate connects to an HSS8x4 hanger equipped with a three-eighths-inch bottom plate. The connection is secured with two five-eighths-inch diameter bolts through three-eighths-inch by four-inch by zero-foot-six-inch splice plates featuring standard holes in both plates. The vertical hanger top of steel and beam layout dimensions are sized per plan.
