A one and one-half inch deep Type B roof metal deck profile spans thirty-six inches across supports. The metal deck panels are secured at each support with a minimum of four three-quarter inch diameter powder-actuated fasteners per panel. Sheared side lap connections are spaced at a maximum of twenty-four inches on center. Accompanying tables list section properties, including moment of inertia and section modulus, for both standard and fully perforated twenty-gauge and eighteen-gauge decks. General notes specify a two-span minimum and three-span preferred layout.
