A reinforced concrete grade beam with a three-foot depth supports a four-inch minimum concrete slab on grade. The grade beam is reinforced with twenty number seven longitudinal bars and number three ties spaced at twelve inches on center. The assembly is positioned at the required brace frame footing depth below the slab.
