A corner hollow structural section post connects to intersecting horizontal members using a three-eighths-inch shaped cap plate and bolted connections matching detail F1-F1. The face of the HSS post aligns flush with the face of the horizontal HSS members. The corner HSS post size is determined per the structural plan and schedule.
