An HSS8x8 girt with a half-inch end plate frames into a W8x35 outrigger beam, aligning flush at the top of steel. The outrigger attaches to a wide-flange column sized per plan with a five-sixteenth fillet weld. A three-and-one-half by three-and-one-half by one-half-inch angle, six inches long, secures the connection with two seven-eighths-inch diameter A325 bolts. An adjacent HSS12x12 girt also connects to the outrigger assembly with a half-inch end plate and a quarter-inch typical fillet weld.
