Cast-in-place concrete stairs feature a standard tread and rise profile with a 1/2 inch radius at nosings. Reinforcement includes continuous #4 bars and #3 nosing bars, supplemented by #3 bars spaced at 18 inches on center each way. The stair slab maintains a minimum thickness of 4 inches with 3 inches of concrete clear cover.
