A steel column connects to a steel transfer beam through a three-quarter-inch steel base plate secured with four seven-eighth-inch diameter A325 bolts, with size and bolt locations referenced to SCP-3 on A1/S302. The transfer beam features web stiffeners on each side per general structural notes. The assembly is integrated into a concrete floor slab cast over metal floor deck.
