A continuous three-eighths-inch bent plate with welded number five by three-foot-six-inch rebar at twenty-four inches on center ties into the edge channel. An L5x3x1/2 long leg horizontal continuous angle and an L4x3x1/4 long leg vertical angle provide support for the guardrail assembly. Continuous number five reinforcing bars run along the perimeter. Welds include three-sixteenths-inch and five-sixteenths-inch fillets configured per drawing callouts. The steel framing connects back to the main structural girder.
