A shear plate is welded to column stiffener plates at the top and bottom with five-sixteenth inch fillet welds, aligning the beam centerline with the column centerline unless noted otherwise. The stiffener plates are welded to the column flange, and the connecting plate dimensions are sized per schedule reference six on sheet S-503.
