A structural steel stanchion measuring 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches is spaced at 48 inches on center and welded to a bent plate assembly at the slab edge. The bent plate thickness is 3/16 inch and connects to a 1/4 by 1 1/2 inch plate measuring zero feet five inches long. Three-sixteenths inch fillet welds secure the plates on three sides with field weld symbols indicated. The concrete slab contains 1/2-inch diameter bent anchor bars measuring 21 inches long spaced at 24 inches on center. The assembly aligns with the beam centerline and sets back six inches from the edge.
