A concrete floor slab bears on a structural steel beam, with the slab edge located per plan and detailed per sheet S-506. Six-inch cold-formed steel studs at sixteen inches on center are tied to the slab edge using a vertical slip connection sized per the cold-formed steel designer, allowing a one-inch minimum vertical slip. Exterior metal panels are coordinated per the architectural drawings. The grid line is positioned one foot two inches from the face of the framing.
