A square three-quarter-inch by twelve-inch minimum plate supports a davit socket pedestal positioned near a structural steel corner column. A W12x19 beam frames into the pedestal assembly, while W12x26 members with moment connections at each end provide structural support as indicated on plan. Fillet welds of three-eighths inch size secure the connection elements.
