An underhung equipment support assembly is suspended from overhead structural steel beams or open-web joists sized per plan. The support frame utilizes C6x8.2 channel members with a maximum allowable supported load of six hundred pounds unless noted otherwise. Hanger rods from the manufacturer provide suspension, supplemented by L6x4x3/8 by zero-foot-six-inch long leg vertical angles and three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on three sides typically. Seismic bracing is included as required per structural notes. Equipment is coordinated per other discipline drawings.
