A typical steel channel stringer bears on a concrete slab on grade and foundation, secured by an L4x4x1/4 by 8-inch angle connection and a 1/4-inch thick closure plate welded with a 3/16-inch fillet weld on three sides. The base assembly is anchored to the concrete using two 3/4-inch diameter epoxy anchors with HIT-RE 500-V3 adhesive. The concrete grade beam is reinforced with two continuous #6 bars.
