Grouped electrical conduit penetrations pass through a concrete slab-on-grade with the voids between conduits filled with concrete. An isolation joint filler surrounds the conduit group, bounded by a diamond-shaped layout of number three reinforcing bars placed on each side. Additional number three reinforcing bars are placed at each corner extending three feet zero inches. The surrounding slab is reinforced according to structural requirements.
