A premanufactured steel curb of eighteen gauge minimum thickness mounts over a roof deck sized per plan to support a condensing unit of two hundred pounds maximum weight. The curb is secured to the roof deck using number twelve sheet metal screws spaced at twelve inches on center along the perimeter, with a minimum of three screws on each side. Additional number twelve sheet metal screws fasten the unit at manufacturer anchorage locations, requiring one at each corner minimum. Waterproofing is applied per architectural specifications around the base of the curb.
