An HSS post connects to a concrete wall through a three-quarter-inch by six-inch by ten-inch embed plate welded with a five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld. The embed plate is anchored into the concrete wall per plan using four three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed studs. Typical wall reinforcement is positioned around the embed assembly according to structural plans.
