A post-tensioned concrete slab transitions in thickness over supporting post-tensioned beams per plan. The assembly includes continuous post-tensioned tendons and slab reinforcing, supplemented by four number four bars at three feet zero inches long spaced at twelve inches on center and four number four bars in the top of the slab. A Z-bar per sheet 20/S5.30 bridges the edge of slab transition, accompanied by a topping slab and exterior weatherproofing per architectural drawings with a sloped exterior slab as required.
