A structural mat slab rests on a prepared subgrade per the geotechnical report. A waterproofing membrane, specifically a self-adhered type, is applied beneath the slab. The concrete slab features typical reinforcement sized per plan with a two-inch top clearance and a three-inch bottom clearance. Additional reinforcement is included where required by structural loading conditions. The overall slab thickness is determined per plan.
