Concrete wall corners require horizontal corner bars matching the size and spacing of wall horizontal reinforcing. Additional vertical bars are placed at the corner, with wall reinforcing bent normally or provided with a bar of the same size and spacing with a lap per general structural notes. Wall intersections include additional vertical bars placed in two typical places. For double reinforced wall framing transitioning to a single reinforced wall, only the outer horizontal corner bar is required.
