A structural davit base plate measuring 1 and 1/2 inches by 15 inches square sits centered over wide-flange beams. The wide-flange beams feature full-depth 5/8-inch stiffener plates on each side welded with a 5/16-inch fillet weld on three sides typical. Six 1-inch diameter A490 high-strength bolts secure each beam connection with standard spacing dimensions of 4 inches vertically and 6 inches horizontally. Concrete fill over metal deck surrounds the structural assembly.
