Steel joists and a seven-and-a-half-inch deep steel girder bear on top of a steel column. A stabilizer plate measuring six inches by three-eighths by six inches with a thirteen-sixteenths inch diameter hole is provided typically at all joists and girders. The girder bearing end connects with two three-quarter inch diameter ASTM A325 erection bolts and three-sixteenths inch fillet welds.
