A cold-formed steel ledger track splice is centered on a wall stud with a fourteen-inch long stud section matching the track gauge. The splice is fastened using six number ten self-tapping metal screws on each side of the splice. Three number ten self-tapping metal screws connect the track to the stud at the wall stud location. Ceiling joists and wall studs are spaced and installed per plan.
