A concrete stair landing is suspended by a one-inch diameter steel hanger rod located at each corner of the landing, totaling two rods. The hanger rod passes through the landing slab and is secured below with a one-half by five by zero-foot-five-inch A36 steel plate and two continuous top and bottom number five reinforcing bars with standard hooks at each end. Additional reinforcement includes number six bars spaced at nine inches and bottom reinforcement matching the stair. Two smaller reference sections detail the edge of the slab and the bottom of the stairs.
