This structural connection utilizes a continuous HSS6x4 member featuring a continuous one-inch cut at the center of the near side of the web to allow horizontal drift. Two three-quarter-inch diameter A307 bolts with nuts secure a half-inch bent plate with two-inch vertical slotted holes. The assembly accommodates movement through horizontal slots and precisely dimensioned plate placements along the centerlines.
