Cross-laminated timber panels bear on a glued laminated timber beam per plan and connect with inclined pairs of 5/16-inch diameter by 11-7/8-inch mass timber connector screw assemblies countersunk at 12 inches on center. A continuous 3/8-inch by 2-inch tie plate with screws is centered on the beam and tied with a 1/4-inch partial joint penetration weld where a tie plate occurs in lieu of a structural tee.
