A spreader beam frames into a glulam timber beam using a three-eighths-inch by four-inch steel plate matching the beam depth, secured by two three-quarter-inch diameter through-bolts. Fillet welds of three-sixteenths-inch size connect the plate assembly. The top of steel elevation is coordinated per plan and elevation manufacturer requirements.
