An offset steel beam connection uses a WT5x22.5 or WT7x26.5 section cut to fit against the supporting beam web, welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld typically on two or three sides as indicated. The carried steel beam connects via a shear tab connection sized per schedule with unslotted bolt holes. The top of the beam elevation varies per plan for both carried beam higher and carried beam lower conditions.
