An angle clip measuring L 4x4 by 68 mil by 1'-4" long serves as the attachment bracket for a stud kicker, with size and spacing determined per wall sections. The connection fastens to the underside of a concrete-filled metal deck using either powder-actuated fasteners or self-tapping sheet metal screws. At concrete and metal deck conditions, the clip secures with two 0.157-inch diameter Hilti X-U powder-driven anchors with 1 1/4-inch embedment per flute for four total fasteners. At metal deck only conditions, the clip fastens with four #12 self-tapping screws per flute for four total fasteners. The connecting stud kicker angle fastens to the clip using four #10 self-tapping screws.
