A built-up three-member boxed header is constructed from cold-formed steel framing members seated within header tracks sized per schedule. The assembly is fastened together using number ten sheet metal screws spaced at twelve inches on center typically through each flange. Additional number ten sheet metal screws secure the header tracks at twelve inches on center.
