An embedded steel plate measuring 5/8 inch by 18 inches by 1 foot 6 inches is cast flush with the top of a concrete slab sized per plan. The plate is secured with four 1/2-inch diameter by 6-inch welded headed studs. Additional reinforcing steel includes four total number 5 bars measuring 6 feet 0 inches each way, maintaining a 2-inch clearance and a typical 1 1/2-inch spacing from the embedded components.
