Single and double row blocking nailing conditions occur where wood joists run perpendicular to a wall. The assembly features plywood sheathing bearing over wood joists and a wood ledger or nailer attached to the wall. A 2x6 wood nailer is fastened with one-quarter inch diameter by three and a half inch SDS screws spaced at eight inches on center with a minimum of two per block, notched or drilled at wall ties. Steel chord plates are omitted from this view and referenced to the structural plans.
