A Scafco PLS4-1500 steel stud connects to the underside of a structural steel beam flange using two number 14 self-tapping metal screws to the stud and two Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners through the beam flange. A Scafco AC350 clip angle connects to the top of the assembly using two number 10 self-tapping metal screws to the stud and three number 12 self-tapping metal screws through a bent plate. Curtainwall framing above and below ties into the head and sill conditions as work by others.
