An in-plane diagonal brace connects to vertical studs and continuous track members in cold-formed steel framing. The assembly uses 600S162-43 vertical hangers spaced at 16 inches on center alongside 600S162-54 diagonal braces spaced at 48 inches on center. Each diagonal brace attaches to the vertical studs using two number 10 sheet metal screws per stud. A 600T150-43 continuous track secures to each flange of each vertical stud using number 10 sheet metal screws. Four number 10 sheet metal screws fasten each end of the diagonal brace.
