An angle brace consisting of four angles connected back-to-back frames into a five-eighths-inch thick Grade A36 gusset plate welded to the underside of a wide-flange beam. The brace angles are fastened with three-quarter-inch diameter bolts spaced at three inches on center, with one-and-a-half-inch edge and end spacings and standard gage spacing. A five-sixteenths-inch fillet weld secures the gusset plate to the beam web and flange. A web stiffener is located at the work point per general structural notes, and grating rests atop the structural steel assembly.
