Two concrete curb profiles are cast on top of a concrete-filled metal deck slab, distinguished by widths less than or equal to eight inches and widths greater than eight inches. Reinforcement consists of number three dowels spaced at twenty-four inches on center, featuring a 180-degree bend at the top and a 90-degree hook at the bottom for anchorage into the slab. Narrow curbs incorporate a single continuous number three bar at the center, while wider curbs utilize number three bars at twelve inches on center each way. Both conditions maintain a three-quarter-inch clear cover and a maximum height of six inches with a one-half-inch typical top radius.
