A structural kicker brace is connected to the web of a wide flange beam located beneath a bare metal deck. The connection utilizes an L3x3x12-gauge angle clip fastened with three number twelve screws. Clearances indicate a maximum two-inch distance to the underside of the deck and a one-inch minimum spacing from the top and bottom of the clip to the beam flanges. A reference note directs to sheet S0.92 for the kicker connection to the deck.
