An HSS14x6 hollow structural section beam connects to an HSS column with a one-half inch clearance offset between centerlines. The connection is detailed with a quarter-inch fillet weld applied to three sides as indicated by the weld symbol. Reference plan dimensions align the centerline of the HSS beam with the centerline of the HSS column.
