A typical concrete masonry unit wall construction features a bond beam unit with horizontal reinforcement. Reinforcement positioners are placed in the first course above and below the bond beam. The grout pour is stopped one-half inch below, maintaining three-quarters of an inch minimum cover at the grout pour. An intermediate grout pour is provided within the masonry cells.
