Precast concrete wall panels meet at a corner joint tied together with embedded steel plates and an interior steel angle. Each panel houses a structural embed plate anchored by welded reinforcing bars and headed studs. A 4x4x1/4-inch steel angle measuring 6 inches long ties the adjacent embed plates together with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld. Wire mesh is tack-welded to the steel assembly and the joint is filled with non-shrink grout after welding. Additional reinforcing bars size number 5 by 32 inches long are centered on the plates and bent as required.
