This structural detail shows hollow structural section columns anchored within a depressed pocket at a concrete slab on grade. Each HSS6x4x3/8 column features an attached one-half by six and one-half inch painted plate and extends upward with defined horizontal dimensions of seven feet three and one-quarter inches. The concrete slab on grade includes a three-inch deep pocket at the column base with a five-inch typical dimension.
